Which natural hair care service should I book?
Tai'Lor recommends that all new clients book a protein treatment + full trim or a braid set + protein treatment + full trim. A service with a full trim is especially recommended for clients with extreme heat damage, rough split ends, or uneven hair shapes.
A full trim is not to be confused with dusting. A full trim focuses on the overall condition of the hair and should be done at least once in your natural hair care journey, while dusting only focuses on the thin, damaged ends of the hair. Dusting is preferred by women with healthy hair, who want to retain some of their length.
Treatments are recommended every six to eight weeks, especially for those who wear protective styles. This will strengthen your hair and improve its ability to hold the weight of the extension.
