Processing Times
The processing time is how many business days it takes us to prepare your order for shipment, not the time it takes to arrive at your door. A business day refers to Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays. So, if we mention a processing time of 5 business days, this doesn’t include Saturdays, Sundays, or any official holidays. For example, if you place an order on Friday, your first business day would be Monday.
Ready-to-Ship Items: If you’re purchasing in-stock bundles, closures, wigs, or natural hair products, your order will be processed within 2 business days.
Pre-Order Items: These are bundles and closures that are not in stock or ready to ship, so we will need up to 5 business days to process your order.
Custom Wigs: Made specifically for you, custom wigs require up to 10 business days of processing time.
After your order’s processing time is complete, you will receive an email with your tracking information so you can monitor your package. We ship all orders with United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS). Once your package is on its way, you can typically expect it to arrive within 1 to 5 business days, depending on your location.
Free Shipping and Insurance
We offer free shipping on most of our items, including growth kits, hair bundles, and wigs. Plus, your package is covered with up to $100 of shipping insurance from the carrier. This means if something goes wrong during transit, you have protection in place.
Once we carefully pack your order and hand it over to the shipping carrier, responsibility for your package transfers to them. The Tailored Hair Collection is no longer liable for your package once it is in the carrier’s hands. Please keep in mind, shipping insurance does not cover missing or stolen packages that are marked as delivered.
If you're concerned about package theft, we highly recommend requesting a hold at your local post office or making sure someone is available to receive it.
Delivery Delays
Sometimes, delivery delays happen due to circumstances outside of our control—such as weather, carrier issues, or holidays. We do our best to ensure prompt delivery, but remember that once a package is in the carrier's hands, it's their responsibility to get it to you. If you feel like your package should have arrived by now:
Check your tracking number. It can take some time for tracking information to update, so don’t panic if you don’t see movement right away.
Check surrounding areas. Sometimes packages are delivered to a nearby location or left in hidden spots, so take a look around your property or ask your neighbors.
Double-check your address. Make sure the shipping address you provided is correct. If your package is returned to us, you will be responsible for covering the additional shipping cost to resend it.
Contact the shipping carrier directly. File a claim, if you believe your package is missing or stolen.
While it’s rare for packages to go missing, we know it can happen. Most of our packages are delivered safely and on time, but please note that The Tailored Hair Collection is not responsible for replacing missing or stolen packages. However, in the unlikely event this happens, we’re happy to offer a discount on your next order as a gesture of goodwill.
