At The Tailored Hair Collection, we know that waiting for your new goodies can feel like a rollercoaster ride—full of excitement, anticipation, with a few unexpected twists and turns. Whether you’re eagerly counting down the days for your luscious virgin hair bundles or natural hair growth products, we’re here to guide you through the journey of receiving your order.

Processing Times
Processing time refers to the number of business days it takes us to prepare your order before shipment—not the time it takes to arrive at your door. A business day means Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. For example, if you place an order on Friday, your first processing day will be Monday.
After the processing time is complete, your order will be shipped and tracking information will be sent to the email you provided during checkout. Orders are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS), and delivery typically takes 2 to 5 business days, depending on your location.
Pickup in Chesapeake, VA is available only for in stock hair extensions and must be requested in the “Add A Note” box at checkout. If your order qualifies for local pickup, we will contact you with pickup instructions, including location and timeframe.

Free Shipping and Insurance
We offer free shipping on all hair extensions, hydrating sets, and growth kits. After we carefully pack your order and hand it over to the shipping carrier, responsibility for the package shifts to the carrier. Unfortunately, once a package is scanned as delivered, there’s nothing we can do on our end. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or missing packages under any circumstances.
Insurance coverage is provided through the shipping carrier in the event of loss during transit, damage, or missing contents and is limited to a maximum liability of $100.00. This coverage does not apply once the package is marked as delivered. If package theft is a concern in your area, we recommend having your order held at your local post office or shipping to a secure address where someone is available to receive it.
Delivery Delays
We understand how frustrating delivery issues can be. Sometimes, delays happen due to circumstances outside of our control—such as weather, carrier issues, or holidays. Please know the shipping carriers are doing their best to get your package to you as quickly as possible. If you believe your package should have arrived by now, we recommend to:

Check your tracking number. It can take some time for tracking information to update, so don’t panic if you don’t see movement right away. For UPS, click here and for USPS, visit click here.
Check surrounding areas. Sometimes packages are delivered to a nearby location or left in hidden spots, so take a look around your property or ask your neighbors.
Check your order details. Make sure the shipping address you provided is correct. If your package is returned to us, you will be responsible for covering the additional shipping cost to resend it.
Contact the shipping carrier directly. If you believe your package is damaged or lost, you can file a claim directly with the shipping carrier. For UPS, visit https://www.ups.com/us/en/support/file-a-claim and for USPS, visit https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm.
We’re proud to have a 99.9% successful delivery rate, and most of our customers receive their orders on time without any issues. However, in the rare event that a package is marked as delivered but cannot be found, we may offer a one time courtesy discount on your next order.
